Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.

Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.

Uses/cabal.mk: Introduce CABAL_WRAPPER_SCRIPTS variable.
Before this change every Haskell executable was wrapped into a shell script
which was installed into ${PREFIX}/bin while the actual executable was installed
into {PREFIX}/libexec/cabal. This was required to set env variables pointing the
Haskell program to its data files under ${PREFIX}/share. However, not every
Haskell program uses this feature.
Now the shell wrapping is off by default and CABAL_WRAPPER_SCRIPTS knob can be
used to enable it for a given port/executable.
Adjust all Haskell ports affected by this change. |

Fix Qt5 symbol version scripts to put the catch-all clause first. When
a symbol matches multiple clauses the last one takes precedence. If the
catch-all is last it captures everything. In the case of Qt5 libraries
this caused all symbols to have a Qt_5 label while some should have
Qt_5_PRIVATE_API. This only affects lld because GNU ld always gives the
catch-all lowest priority.
Older versions of Qt5Webengine exported some memory allocation symbols from
the bundled Chromium. Version 5.9 stopped exporting these [1] but the
symbols were kept as weak wrappers for the standard allocation functions to
maintain binary compatibility. [2][3] The problem is that the call to the
standard function in these weak wrappers is only resolved to the standard
function if there's a call to this standard function in other parts of
Qt5Webengine, because only then is there a non-weak symbol that takes
precedence over the weak one. If there's no such non-weak symbol the call (Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above ) |

Bump PORTREVISION for ports depending on the canonical version of GCC
defined via Mk/bsd.default-versions.mk which has moved from GCC 7.4 t
GCC 8.2 under most circumstances.
This includes ports
- with USE_GCC=yes or USE_GCC=any,
- with USES=fortran,
- using Mk/bsd.octave.mk which in turn features USES=fortran, and
- with USES=compiler specifying openmp, nestedfct, c11, c++0x, c++11-lang,
c++11-lib, c++14-lang, c++17-lang, or gcc-c++11-lib
plus, as a double check, everything INDEX-11 showed depending on lang/gcc7.

Merge lang/qt5-qml and x11-toolkits/qt5-quick into x11-toolkits/qt5-declarative

KDE3 and QT3 expired on 2013-07-01, remove these ports.
Unfortunately, this also affects some ports using QT3 as a GUI toolkit.
Changes to infrastructure files:
- bsd.kde.mk : obsolete, remove
- bsd.qt.mk : note that a CONFLICTS_BUILD line can probably go after a while
- CHANGES : document the removals from bsd.port.mk
- KNOBS : remove KDE and QT (KDE4 and QT4 should be used instead)
- MOVED : add the removed ports

Add devel/subversion16 port, for people, who need old version.

The KDE FreeBSD team is proud to announce the release
of KDE 3.5.10 for FreeBSD. The official KDE 3.5.10 release
notes can be found at:
http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-3.5.10.php
While not a very exciting release in terms of features,
3.5.10 brings a couple of nice bugfixes and translation
updates to those who choose to stay with KDE 3.5. The
fixes are thinly spread across KPDF with a number of crash
fixes, KGPG and probably most interesting various fixes
in kicker, KDE3's panel:
* Improved visibility on transparent backgrounds
* Themed arrow buttons in applets that were missing them
* Layout and antialiasing fixes in various applets

The KDE FreeBSD team is proud to announce the release
of KDE 3.5.9 for FreeBSD. The official KDE 3.5.9 release
notes can be found at:
http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-3.5.9.php
After the KDE 4.1.0 import the team found time to make
KDE 3.5.9 ready for the Ports tree.
KDE 3.5.9 was released six months ago and 3.5.10 is coming
soon. We are not sure we have time to get 3.5.10 for FreeBSD
7.1/6.4 release, but we would have minimum 3.5.9 for those
people who prefer to stay with KDE3.
Of course Thanks to all Testers. |
